I would like to recommend a few of my favorite outfitters to my friends and students:

Besaw’s Log Cabin Outfitters – this hunting range is one of Newfoundland’s best kept secrets. Accessible only by helicopter, the “Alaska” of Eastern Canada offers best opportunity for a trophy Eastern Canadian Moose and huge Black Bears.

Heavens Gate Outfitters in Idaho. Andy Savage is a dear friend of mine and his operation offers spring and fall bear hunts, elk hunts and bird hunts from 5 fully equipped hunting camps covering an area of 1,200 square miles.  This past September I have joined the CZ group for unforgettable bird hunt in the Hell’s Canyon area.

Save Safaris– Save Valley Conservancy in South Eastern Zimbabwe is the largest privately owned reserve in Africa, home to the Big Five. Created in 1991, it is comprised of 21 adjacent properties with no internal fencing, totaling 900,000 acres. I have been fortunate to harvest a big dagga boy during my 2015 hunting adventure. Great place and great people.

Numzaan Safaris is a family-run operation in South Africa, great place for plains game in picture perfect setting.
